ama: although the preflop call is bad, the postflop float ain't terrible from villian.

I agree, thats what I'm saying.

He played it fine, I paid him off. At the end of the day he got odds on his float, because I was too blind not to push. Had I not paid him, his play would have been -EV, but as it was he came off +EV.

At $2 for the float, he needed to scoop $16.80 by the river to make it +EV, and I gave him $25.

bear in mind in your calculations that you have quite a few outs on the river here.

Having said that, folding middle pair to a c-bet would be pretty stupid.

Thing is as well that this guy was such a massive moron that his range was ginormous. All K's, underpairs and most T's were open here.

I think the hardest part was watching him slowly but surely re-distributing my buyin to the rest of the table, except me.
