On HSP, for example, Jen Harman said it was only her 2nd time playing NLH cash game uncapped.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ahhhh....I get it now. You seem to be confusing Chip Reese with
Jennifer Harmon. Understandable. They're both blond.

It's very likely that he has close to zero NLHU experience.

You are mistaken in this assumption. Badly mistaken.

He might have some NLHU experience but he almost certainly has very little NLHU tournament experience. In a cash game maybe you can let the other person take the upper hand in the small pots if you so choose and punish them by winning the big pots when they come around. In a tournament though obviously sometimes you never get that oppurtunity because you are racing against time. We can only know so much from the updates but it looks as though Reese got to the point where he was forced to push a gutshot because Bloch was running him over so badly.

Name one time other than the NBC HU championship that you've seen or heard of Chip Reese playing NLHE heads up.

That might be so, care to explain exactly how? Are you suggesting that a normal afternoon in Bobby's room includes Chip Reese sitting on one end while the rest of the world's best combine their bankrolls and take turns playing against him in heads up no limit holdem?

Do you suggest that a regular weekday in Bobby's room is a NLH cash game?

Do you suggest that Chip is a tourny grinder that doesn't miss a single NLH event on the circut and thus plays more short handed no limit holdem than anyone else?

Do you suggest that Chip logs on day in and day out to play bad_ip HU 200-400 NL on prima? Maybe Reese is bad_ip?

Come on. Give some solid information when you post something. It is very likely that I'm wrong. The Harman example was meant to show that the big cash game players aren't always that familiar with NLH uncapped cash games as you might think.

Great in poker + Big cash game player doesn't equal NLH specialist. There are other games in poker. It doesn't revolve around no limit holdem.

This is why No-Limit Hold'em at the FT was a bad idea. Wouldn't it be great if these 2 players would battle it out in every form of poker? I guess TV has a big influence in an event.

LOL at you guys who think Chip Reese is outclassed because he doesn't have NL heads up tourney experience.

Michael, who said that? What does outclass means? Reese is perhaps the best poker player ever. Is he a big favourite in a NLH tournament when playing HU against a circut pro who plays mostly NL?

If your answer is "Yes, you are all idiots", I would be glad to wager on that.
