Default AT BB vs TAG

Maybe this belongs in micros, but am I playing this right? FOld the turn? Show it down?

Button is a winning TAG, 27/21/2.3 38 WTSD. I've seen him do some semidumb stuff like cap an OESD OOP on the flop, etc.

Every street in your hand is standard IMO, except the turn. The turn play is close. If you think this guy will fold a hand like 55, then I like the turn bet. But if you dont think you can get a lesser hand to fold, then I prefer check/calling the turn, and check/folding the river. The reason I say this is becuz when a good player calls you on that specific flop, he will have A-high beat a lot, so the value of your hand takes a huge blow once the villain calls here. On the turn, you picked up some outs. You now have up to 7 outs to beat Qx and 10 outs to beat a lower pair. What this means if you dont really wanna bet/fold here nor do you really wanna bet/call. Since the probability that youre trailing is very high, betting the turn is largely dependent on how often you think you can get a lower pair to fold on this board. If you have no folding equity against a lower pair, then check/calling the turn will be your best play.

Nice post. I was also thinking that he could have a gutshot with hands like A3/A5 that he would be correct to call on the flop that he might abandon on the turn.

My instinct is that there are not going to be enough better hands that would fold or worse hands that will call for this turn bet to be better than check-calling.

Ok, let's assume the turn goes ck-ck and the river bricks out (pairs the board or something). Should I check-call here or is that spewy? Is calling the river part of the ck-call turn line?

If he checks through the turn, I'd probably call, but I think its pretty close and I wouldn't mind a fold. If he bets the turn, I'm folding the river.
