Do you c/r the turn a decent amount in situations like this? His river raise strikes me as kind of odd. That 9 really didnt help a lot of hands in his range. What is he peeling the flop with and not betting the turn with that the 9 helps? The runner runner looks scary, but unless he has JcTc cant think of another suited club hand he could hold. Most of the other x9 hands hed hold, prolly bet the turn when you check, unless of course he sees you go for the turn screwplay. Id prolly pay this river raise off. I actually prolly check the river, I think you induce more value that way than by betting, everyone is so hopped up on value betting these days that I dont think he checks behind any hands hed call a bet with after you double check
turn, I dunno. getting raised sucks cuz its close enough I prolly have to call...guess it depends on how aggresive he is. |

I expect I get bluffed out here by bet/folding from time to time as well, so check-call dodges that as well. I'm on the fence about the turn check as well. Getting raised would suck, but I'm sure he's peeling the flop with a ten here and then probably taking the free card on the turn a lot, so maybe betting, calling a raise, and folding the river would be best. |

im grunching...but i hate RRing KQ against mp raiser...maybe button, but mp? this is to loose, when u bet the flop and he calls, im going into total shutdown mode... if u 3bet, then bet flop hes folding almost all the time unless he has a damn nice draw, pair of aces or maybe a weak player with KK....
pick ur spots, this guy is respectable |

Second off, I think you're limiting his range when he calls the flop way too much. Wouldn't JT peel this flop getting, 7.5:1? |

Preflop: I'm pretty borderline on raising this out of the BB. In LP or the SB I'm always reraising KQ against this sort of player, but in the BB you're out of position and you won't drive any other players out. I suppose against a player this aggro I'd go for it, but I think it's very close.
Flop: Standard continuation bet. Turn: I'd keep betting after catching top pair. I think most opponents of this sort would raise on the flop with top pair on a coordinated board such as this. Also, checking puts you in an uncomfortable spot if your opponent bets. River: I prefer check/calling here. The board was so draw heavy that you might get an aggro opponent to bet with a busted draw, and you also have the benefit of showing down your hand for the same price as bet/folding. Just my opinion... |

I agree with moneyline about preflop. I'm almost always 3-betting this on the button and out of the small blind but usually calling from the big blind.
I'm happy check calling the turn, but I've been checking more and more turns lately with good hands. The river seems darn close and I can't make a desicion about it. |

I consider this a call preflop, not a three bet. Then I check the flop.
As played, I bet the turn. MP doesn't seem to like the flop that much. |
