Tick: I have no clue how I would be able to play 28/20. It does not compute in my brain.

[/ QUOTE ]

Raise a lot and take down a ton of small pots. This makes your opponents think you suck because you are so agressive (or really good and youll fold to their raises). So when you hit a monster you get paid off, and you still get a lot of those small pots too.

Its been working for me. I have made almost no changes at all to my preflop game from $25NL->$600NL and I dont see a need to change it too much as I move beyond.

Note that my preflop game only works if you feel you are real good post flop.

This is the first time I have ever actually misread the board, I honestly thought I had the nuts when I pushed.

[/ QUOTE ]

I did that too yesterday. WTF I never misread the board, but somehow I had A7 and the board was 843 and I thought I had top pair and decided to call down huge bets from an aggro LAG.

AJ, you play like 8/4 preflop, right? There is that guy "Call_Me_Daddy" at 200 NL who's like 38/28 and seems to be a decent pro. He drops stacks like crazy to pros, but seems to pwn the bad players (including bad wannabe tags).

BTW - I noticed the other day that party has heads up SNG's now. Is that new? Anyone tried 'em?

lol, if i were you cbloom, i would sit down with him every day and just nut peddle until you make your money back, donks like that bust their rolls quickly, so dont let him quit poker before you take his roll!!!

PS, think of the -$400 as an investment in making him think he is a good player, now he thinks that play is good and will pay you 10x as much if you can milk him right!

And, I need breakfast recommendations for my trip to IHOP in the morning. I've never been.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh man, IHOP is so good. You should start a thread entirely devoted to your IHOP experience. For the love of god have you ever seen so many kinds of syrups?

I don't know if B0Jackson is a 2p2er. If you are, you seriously need to cut back on the # of tables you play, until you can handle multitabling without timing out and slowing everyone down. I've played with you a few times, you are always slow. The fish are even commenting on how slow you are and leaving the table because of it.
