So I'm 18 and I'm about to take my first vacation to California, however I was told by a Californian that some casinos have a gambling age of 21, not 18. Is this true? Also what casinos should I hit North of LA?

I belive the Indian casinos have an 18 age reqmt. The card casinos (Bike, Commerce, etc) are 21.

A lot of Indian casinos went to 21+ a few years ago when more liquor licenses were handed out after prop 5 passed. Pala and Pechanga went 21+. Morongo (outside Palm Springs) is still 18+. Not sure about Chumash (by Santa Barbara). Bay 101 and Lucky Chances in Norcal are both 21+ (as well as ALL LA casinos like Bike, Commerce, Hollywood Park, and Hustler).

The main reason I avoid Morongo is because they are 18+ (no offense). Just too many freaky/punk teenagers for my taste.

Subscription only...... Boooo.

oh well gives me a reason to stop just watching poker and actually play more. Also will all shows be the bigger stakes instead of the crappy 2/5 blinds where everyone folds? Because i don't want to pay for that [censored]. If its going to be the action games than the subscription is easily worth it. If not then im not sure if 14.99 for 2 nights a week IE 8 times a month is really worth it..

Morongo is pretty easy game, you can basically sit there for a few minutes wait till you get a hand and get paid off highest usual running stakes is 2/5 nl however it plays pretty big as its un capped and you have guys buying in for 1000 ish, go on a friday and you will see what i mean, last time i went 3 guys sat down and bought in for more than 1200 at a 2/5 i asked if they wanted to go to the 5/10 level as i was only one on list and they said no guess they just like to have the ablity to call almost any raise. Chumash is 18 also. Commerce is pretty laxed on carding imo. Thats where i mostly play now and play the 5/10 game there.

after just hearing the suggestion on paypal, id recomend it would make things a lot easier, also how about making the game longer on the big nights if its not going to be the big game everynight. IE 4 hours instead of usual 3 hours?

I am very very sad to see it go subscription only. Not that $15/month is alot, but there is so much else to pay for too each month, it all adds up. Anyways, the show was great while it "lasted" atleast. What am I sepposed to watch for breakfast now? Damn... Maybe one day I will get the subscription too.

There are already people talking about ripping the show and torrent it... And no do not ask me where to get them...
