[ QUOTE ] Once upon a time, I liked Test. He moved well for a big man, wasn't a total failure on the mike, didn't nosell everything thrown at him, and had the only impressive big boot I've ever seen. [censored] Triple H. [/ QUOTE ] Wow. I never knew that anyone liked Test. I thought he was great back when I still watched. He seemed like an athletic Nash. What happened with Triple H that got him super-jobbed? [/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure that Test used to date Stephanie. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure that Test used to date Stephanie. [/ QUOTE ] AFAIK, that was all storyline. Everything was pretty much ok with Test except that he couldn't get over despite every push in the universe including pairing him with Stacy Keibler (The "testicle push") who he actually was dating. Then he had to get his neck fused and was released 2 years ago. Calling Test an athletic Nash is the nicest thing that anyone has ever said about him I think. If only he was 1/10 as funny and charming as Nash, he'd be a huge star. |

About the only thing good about last night's show was the crowd. The Philly fans were chanting "You're not over" at The Big Show during the match than he wins the belt, just sickening. As soon as it was apparent Heyman came out to help Big Show win the belt the crowd went absolutlet dead. No booing, Big Show is incapable of creating heat, just dead silence from a crowd that had been very vocal all night.
I don't understand why they didn't put the belt on Sandman or Dreamer. They could've even come up with some story line were Terry Funk wins the belt and have him wrestle the minimum of matches until Kurt Angle could win the title. This is one of the worst things they could do to try and gain the old ECW fans. |

I don't understand why they didn't put the belt on Sandman or Dreamer. [/ QUOTE ] RVD beating either of them in a month wouldn't have the "wow" factor of what will happen when RVD beats TBS. This way they keep Sandman for canings, Dreamer for beatings, and Big Show to lend some name appeal for John Q. Sixpack. It's too bad RVD had to lose the belt, but I see why it was required, and sadly TBS was the logical choice as the guy to hold onto the belt 'til RVD's triumphant return in August. With SummerSlam in August (one of the top three PPVs outside of WrestleMania) it could make for a great part of what may be a phenomenal triple main event (along with Cena vs. Edge and Rey vs. Batista or Booker vs. Batista). |

WWE is actually pretty good right now. I've enjoyed watching it over the last few weeks with the whole DX thing and ECW vs WWE deal. [/ QUOTE ] Even though I loved DX back in the day I can't stand watching RAW. The wrestling sucks as it is secondary to the storylines... which also suck. I loved RAW back in 1998 And the new ECW is just awful. |

Of course, he was 10x a better worker than Nash which means nothing at all

If Vince gave Paul total booking control over ECW and gave him some money to bring in talent, I think it could get back to the level it was at.
The problem though, is yes, I know Paul has been involved in the booking recently, but the WWE is attached to this new ECW, therefore they can't push the envelope as they used to. What should happen is have Paul say screw the new ECW and go to TNA. With that group of wrestlers, he could live with freedom and I think it would prosper into major WWE competition. If he could get control over booking on TNA and get some of his guys in the WWECW to jump ship, the sky is the limit. Who wouldn't love to see another Raven/Tommy Dreamer feud? Dudley Boyz vs. Sabu/RVD. While that could happen in a perfect world, I just don't see it as a possibility |

I don't follow TNA at all but I can't see Jeff Jarrett handing over his book to Paul E.
Also ECW is a dead stick. Time to bury it and pretend it didn't happen. |

WWECW will be just brand #3 to Raw and SmackDown.
Raw has the brawling style (Cena, Edge, Kane) of wrestling with more story lines (Trish/Carlito and Nitro/Melina, Kane v Kane, DX v Vince) SmackDown has more of a tech/cruiser style (Rey, Benoit, Booker) with less story. WWECW can have more hardcore matches (Sabu, Dreamer) and more of a legit feel to it. (Angle and Big Show being more about winning belts and fighting inring then about feuding over other things) So each show has something to attract different types of fans. |

Last ECW was just terrible. All the matches seemed WWE-style to me. Test will never get over with matches like that. Or at all. I don't see what Heyman sees in him.
