im pretty sure the fact that ed miller is her husband and "she has a good deal of pull with 2p2" are highly correlated and are what many have a problem with.

Dom, this is absolutely absurd. Lots of people express strong opinions that I like. Also, being Ed's wife made me predisposed to liking her. I like Ed a lot and a year ago I couldn't have imagined a scenario in which I could really dislike his wife.

Probably not as well as you, no. All I'm saying is it's not likely Ed and David/Mason/etc. were going to deny ED MILLER'S WIFE a modding job simply because a lot of people found her posts to be trollish.

I could lie and say it is because I think it would be better for the forums (I have no idea, I barely read OOT and don't really know a substantial amount about either), but I won't.

I agree with this. People are all over Elaine for making "trollish posts," but guess what, half of OOT makes those same kind of posts. It's pretty obvious she's being singled out among a wide array of posters that have mixed quality of posts. Yes, she makes some stupid posts. Yes, a lot of "well respected" forum members make stupid posts too. Banning regular forum contributors that aren't complete asshats AND making a public spectacle of it is a recipe for disaster, as is now hopefully evident.
