But if this is the case then how bad a hand are you willing to take a stand with?

It's highly unlikely he's trying to bluff raise you off "AK" and the caller off his hand. People play more straight forward in multi way pots. You will almost never see a mid pair here. This is either a set, 65, a straight, or some sort of decent draw. The only time you're good is when villain has 54 but I wouldnt count on it. You're margainally ahead of or crushed by most of his range
