They don't sponsor bodyboarding ... I'm really bitter. [/ QUOTE ]Sponger, are you that good a bodyboarder? I know it's listed in your little profile thing, but is their "No Bodyboarding Sponsoring" policy really costing you $$$? Or are you just pissed about their disrespect for your 'sport'? -Sam |

For those who were interested in the 'world record attempt' here's an update. It doesn't look good. I have a few interviews coming up for a job and the casino is lagging around with setting a date, so I'm not sure I'm even going to be in this state when/if they set a date.
I am hopeful to maybe get in touch with Phil Gordon and make this attempt next summer in conjunction with a fundraiser for his Put a Bad Beat on Cancer foundation. In other news, for those who were interested in the book I wrote on turning pro in poker, it is ready for purchase. You can preview it at www.mcpoker.us HOpe all is well, mc |

No no, no spam. For those who know me, they know about this record and my attempt at it.
Also in response to your Andy Beal comment, while I realize you are making ANOTHER Andy Beal joke, when I decided to go about breaking this record, I realized that it would not be the longest poker session ever played, merely the longest poker session played under the Guiness Book of World Records rules. I personally have played longer than the current world record, just not in accordance to their rules. Hope all is well, mc |

I'm pretty sure this is very lame. Oh it is rigged too. If the world record isn't actually the world record, then it is rigged. Clearly rigged.
