[ QUOTE ]
Doubling up have two benefits. The first is, obviously, that you double your chip count. The second is that the double usually cripples if not completely takes out another player, unless your victim was a monster stack. At a 9 man stars SNG, doubling early effectively knocks out one player, thus giving you nearly 25% of the chips in play with 8 left. From that point on, a 50% ITM at minimum is sustainable (notice I said from that point on, you obviously won't double up early in every SNG you play). -Edited for clarity (O RLY?) [/ QUOTE ] Also, I'm not sure if this is a parody or not...but it's pretty hilarious: haha |

[ QUOTE ] I'm no great draw player, but it seems to me at least holding AK is the right play here vs allin predraw player. He's only improving his hand about 1 in 2.5x if he draws 1 card to the flush. Not sure tho. [/ QUOTE ] In the video he claims that he made a mistake because he was unfamiliar with the software. Supposedly he intended to keep the hearts. Watch his mouse... he does appear to be having problems. As for the strategy... about 19% to make a flush, which will be a nutty hand. If he keeps AK, draws 3, he (at least) pairs 36% of the time, he (at least) 2pairs 8% of the time with 3% being trips. (clarify, no pair 64% of time). So, the flush will probably be good 99% of the time. One pair, even aces, isn't likely to be good more than 50% of the time, and more importantly, you can't get/give much action with it. Aces up is much more likely to be good, but we're only getting 2 pair or better 8% of the time, and I'd much rather be betting with a flush. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but as I said, his opponent was allin; No more betting to be had. |

It is not the real Professor77. He has posted on there before as Professor77. Whoever is posting as a joke, is using Professor_77.
