Looks somewhat standard to me. OOP not leading the flop is probably wise, especially against this many, and it seems like an easy call when it comes back around. Ditton on the turn. I'm a bit surprised the river c/r worked - I'm pretty sure I find a fold if I'm him in that spot. So, in that frame of mind, I might have bet the river, probably 1/2-2/3 pot.

main thing is that when I checked I didn't feel like I knew where I stood (was a bit scared of turn min raiser once that jack comes), but after the action I felt everything was clear.

hi curtains,

whats the deal with sirrob's small flop and turn bets? is this "normal" at the 109s+ or just bad bets? also, what would be the proper bet size for sirrob on the flop and turn...

thanks.

not necessarily normal, just bad bets..especially if he is willing to pay off a flush on river. In most cases someone is going to re-raise this weak flop bet which is going to put him in a bad situation given that he is just inducing a big-pot without a big hand.

whats with the min raise on the turn by bob?!

on the river, would you have folded your nut flush to a min raise by bob?

I dunno I thought it was tough spot, but really just betting could be the best. The slight problem is that IF I bet and Bob raises, it's really an unpleasant situation. He'd have to be totally insane (which we know many people are) to not have my flush beat. I checked basically for information and would have used my feel to determine the action if and when Bob bets, but possibly risking that it gets checked around is too big a risk with the strength of my hand.

Oh well, I doubled up, I'll just be results oriented for now

My favorite hands are those in which you check on the river and you aren't really planning on check raising necessarily, but something in the action convinces you that your hand is definitely the best, and so you actually do end up check raising. But in this case my hand may just have way too much value for it to fall into this category...
