Man..just watched The Hills Have Eyes...out of sheer boredom
How bad have horror movies gotten today...they can't even be original, they have to be even crappier remakes of crappy horror films. Michael Bay and Eli roth should be executed for helping get this crap put on film. |

Candyman did come to mind when I saw the thread title. It's a great horror movie.
But the winner should probably be Audition, from what I've heard about it - not seen it yet myself. |

Hmmm ... Army of Darkness (I've given up on finding genuinely scary horror movies), or ... Audition (more shocking than scary, but it made me feel something).

Am I the only one who doesn't really place Scream in the Horror genre? Maybe because I wasn't the least bit scared by it, but it seems to fit more in with a Murder Mystery.
I would like to vote for Candyman as well. It was well done and I'll admit that I had a hard time looking in mirrors for a while after it (I was 11 at the time). |
