What about a feature to have an option to name the tourny... rather than it just be listed as a Date and #.

Our series that we just started is going to have different games with differnt buyins. Some NL, PL, Fixed Limit.. so rebuys.. etc etc...
it would be nice to be able to name each specific tourny so that its easier to find if you want to search history.. etc.

Also, can the points column be set up to hold up to 3 decimal places?
Our point system is kinda different... but it works well since we have a large variance in entrants from tourny to tourny.
But reguardless, the points are low and are taken to 3 decimal places. When I entered it in, it rounded to the nearest whole number.

I was thinking about adding event names for tourneys, but I didn't know if everyone would want them. I guess I will do this and hard code a default name for people who don't care about them.

Decimal places is something I overlooked when I designed the website. I will need to change the data type of the points field in the datbase, and it will require testing.

As a temporary work-around, try multiplying all points by 1000 (or a larger number if necessary) and it should take care of the rounding issue. For example: if my points are 1.245, 1.245x1000=1245, and 1245 can be entered into the website. Apply this to all points and you get the same results with bigger numbers.

I would use this feature, for sure. Make sure that past events are editable.

And just to beat a dead horse, I know it's right around the corner, but my players are dying to use the message board feature.

I'll probably have a really basic version of them ready on Sunday night. By basic I mean post a topic and reply to a toppic. No UBB code for links/images yet.
