Huge one. Maybe this kind of situation works for you two but it seems kind of cold and business deal-ish to me.
If I were you I would apologize and tell her that this situation has caused you to reevaluate the whole financial situation and ask her what she thinks would be a good set up and talk about it. What always worked for me was to pool our resources and then sit down with my partner periodically (maybe once a month) and review our short and long term financial situation and goals and work from there.

Jesus, Im torn. The OP sounds like a huge douche bag, but in some respects I think his wife is getting a free ride (not so much pertaining to the FW questions, just in general). I dont know how Im ever going to handle getting married.

WTF kind of marriage is that? Most marriages that i know of pool all their money together and split wiht 50-50 no matter who makes more mainly b/c they are MARRIED and LOVE eachother so it's not just about money...

I have everything I want in the world right now, giving some girl half my money, while she barely works, etc just doesnt seem to make sense.
