Bill Bill Bill, you're killing me! 48 seconds left and you got the ball on your 30. You got 3 timeouts, they got 1. Try a pass on first down. If it gets nowhere, you run the ball twice & end the half. If it's completed, you're rolling towards FG range.

Most of the time, I love Bill's conservative play. This time, I didn't.

That's the way Cowher does it. Plus, the last thing he wanted was for Indy to get at Ben a few more times, maybe force another ugly pass that turns into a pick, returned for 6. He knows that he's against the best team in the league and the longer he keeps their Offense off the field, the better.
