You're pretty deep for this.. and you've got nice postflop equity.

Dumb, hate the play, a 1200 bet gets the job and you can still put the hand down if reraised. The other factor is that the big bet actually looks weaker and might get called by a big stack although the only you are worried about here is UTG+1 or maybe the SB.

I kind of like it given your stack size. I see one of 3 things happening, you pick up the dead money and everyone folds. Someone decides you're making a move and looks you up with overs and you double up, plus a little more, or someone decides to look you up and outflop you and you're out. Either way I like it because it's a 4 dollar tourney and you can always start up another one.

Yeah.. I think it's close, and I'd do it with a hand that plays worse postflop. Definitely could be wrong.

This is a $4 tournament, somebody with J10s is calling you in a second, and I dont think you want that.

uhhhh

yeah i do!

edit: also, saying that they'll call with JTs is probably overstating the case... but I agree that their range is obviously wider than normal. even so, i'm pretty sure this is +cEV. and them calling with JTs is obviously +cEV for me.

Jeeze.. I suck lately.

This is definitely solid. You're somewhere around 50/50 against a typical calling range here, so with overlay your equity's already ~t600, which you're definitely not averaging postflop with 66. Plus, FE.

Sorry for sucking,
Nice push,
Noah
