easy shove. I occasionally shove over 10BBs, there are exceptions to this rule.

I just want to note that the 10bb rule is simply a rough guideline, I imagine because it's easy to remember. There are times when I'll shove 13-15bbs and standard raise with 9bbs. Table conditions like who is in the blind (and what their calling threshold is), the strength of your hand, and other stacks at the table should be your primary concerns when choosing to fold, raise, or shove.

10bb is a nice rule for simplicity and avoiding confusion, but it's not written in stone.
