I agree with HappyNutz.
Why not come out betting something like 3/4 of pot - pot and take it down very high % of the time?
Checkraising seems nice too after seeing UTG and CO+1 actions.

You won't be taking it down a high % of the time, sorry! If this comment were true, youd make this bet with something like 82o.

Well yes you take this down with high % enough to bet with anything... but the times youll get called you have them most likely beat with your 88 over their draws and you can bet the turn if a blank falls. Good players are going to raise here with almost all of their better hands against you.

The pot is 280 and you bet 240-280 - which hands are going to call you?

I would check and call the t100 bet on the turn. But if it had gotten all the way back to me with only the original bettor, I might consider c-raising.

I don't know what games you play, but betting into 5 players from 1st position doesn't take down the pot a high % of the time at any game I've ever played in any form of poker.
