Default Awkward spot out of position, 10/25, street by street

Villain seems like a solid winning TAG, hasn't showdown much and hasn't been out of line. I have been very LAGgy in the game, raising a lot of pots and playing pretty fast overall. This type of spot is still awkward for me, flopping a marginal hand after reraising pf OOP.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $25 BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com

MP ($1247)
Button ($2719)
SB ($1394)
Hero ($4915)
UTG ($4495.50)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, Button raises to $85, 1 fold, Hero raises to $265, Button calls $180.

Flop: ($540) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero .. Bet/fold, check/call?

Ok maybe it's boring so far. I checked, he bet 375 and I called.

Turn was the 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Plan?

How has the villain been responding to continuation bets? I usually just lead this flop for $425 and depending on how tight he is possibly just let it go. Your reraise preflop means that a checkraise is going to seriously bloat the pot; and a check call on this board basically means giving up since the villain will likely fire $1000 or so on any turn.

As played, I probably c/f the turn. If villain checks behind I lead the river for $750 and fold to any additional action.

bet the flop here ... he's not going to give you any more money with a worse hand once you check-call but he might with a lower A if you lead out and he might try to raise with a pocket pair if he puts you on KK or JJ.

It was against Boy. I played this hand super passive and gay.

I checked again, he checked behind, river was a 2o. I checked, he bet 650...

I thought i was gonna vomit after playing this hand. I freeze up too much OOP in spots like this.

That seems like a good line.

... that seems really bad from meta-game standpoint, given how aggressive these short-handed games usually are.

You are going to get 500 replies about why you should never check the flop for some reason.

I like your line depending on the last hundred hands of course, I would check and call the turn.
