It's been more than a day or two. I like the forum, but I still hate the name.

Still the name hate? You're not alone, I still get PMs about it.

What would you like then?

I like the forum so far.

I agree that the name sucks.

The lounge sounds so much cooler.

We should get Cigar Afficianado to sponsor this forum.

The Cigar Lounge? Sounds like a gentleman's club

Are girls permitted?

(just kidding, I'm down with the Lounge or the Zone!)

All,

Please note that the goal of this forum is less to discuss a specific set of topics and more to discuss things in a certain manner.

[/ QUOTE ]

so if I am rude or short or abrupt in a Quiet Zone thread my post will be deleted?

I think the mistake here is creating a civilized forum and an uncivilized forum when the same people post in both.

Not necessarily. It's in the FAQ. You can be rude, as long as you are part of the thread discussion. If you're taking part in a thread, you're fine. If you just drop in, say something rude without foundation/explanation to a poster taking part, you're not fine.

Short/abrupt - no, I won't delete it, but if the whole thread is short stuff (eg a thread with people just listing things without any discussion), I'll most likely move the whole thread to OOT.
