i was in boston this weekend so i missed all the games. what sucks is that if i was in nyc i would have gone to the game where we were down 4 in the ninth. at least i got to see detroit come back from 6-0 in front of a bunch of sox fans.

all in all, a nice weekend. leiter pitched well, giambi hit, im happy.

what a year he is having, who would have thought.

im sure he is having at least near the most back to back multi HR games in a season. 25 HR now. and they wanted to send him to the minors? i thought he should have gone to the minors, and even i did not think he would come back like this. hes going to have 30 HR!

the kid was definitely impressive. i dont think he threw more than 2-3 pitches less than 97 in the first inning. his control was not the legendary stuff everyone has talked about, but its only one game. hes good. very goot.

randy had it tonight. not much to it, he pitched great. the thing about randy is that no matter how badly he pitched earlier in the year he's still the big unit. you can never count him out. sort of like schilling, even though schilling has been awful i still am not counting him out and its still a worry.

and im convinced, even if you threw a 120 mph fastball to sheff he'd still whoomp it past the bullpen.

1. when he was striking out 4/5 times up and flailing, did you think he had a chance to get 30 HRs? i didnt.

2. you think no one on the red sox has used steroids?

or are you saying hes still on drugs?
