i have told the clerk on numerous occasions, but if i feel the store has ripped me off in the past, i might let it slide...not to get something for nothing, but to get back to even.

I hate to bring religion into this. But I invented my own religion, where the whole goal of life is to take what you can and give nothing back, basically you have to try to be superior than everyone and bring everyone else down. If you don't try to be better than everyone else then you will go to the place I call "hell". However if you suceed in making yourself the best then you go to this place I call "heavan". So basically all these christians fucktards will be going to hell which gives me a raging hardon.
Peace out you inferior computer geeks! |

[ QUOTE ]
I'd tell her, the $133 means alot less to me then the job does to her/stocker. No, you shouldn't be embarrassed for doing the right thing, even if it cost you money, and shouldn't be in a relationship where that's even a possibility. [/ QUOTE ] There were a bunch of people in line behind me and you just know that half of them are thinking you're an idiot for not taking the money and run. In general I don't give a D what people think of me, but all factors combined didn't make me cheerful, which kind of surprised me. As far as the hubby, we've got 22 years together thinking we both got the better deal, (yeah, I'm ancient by 2 + 2 standards.) [ QUOTE ] I'm really surprised at the number of people who value their integrity less than they value a hundred bucks. [/ QUOTE ] You're totally right, of course. My integrity is worth much more to me. But, I'm also a realist about human nature. A huge percentage of the planet doesn't see the sitation in those terms. "People are basically good", is a fallacy in my experience. |
