Default bottom pair...induce bluff?

UTG is 24/16/.57 and MP1 is 45/5/.6. Both players are the kind that play according to the strength of their hands. If they beat you they instantly let you know and you can fold easily. They almost play with their hands turned face up.

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG raises, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 5 folds, Hero calls.

Questionable PF call...if it were any other 2 players at the table, I'm probably mucking.

Flop: (6.33 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, MP1 folds, Hero raises, UTG calls.

I raise because I don't think this flop hit him and I want to see what he does. Just calling tells me he has 2 UI OC.

Turn: (5.16 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls.

River: (7.16 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

I check to see if he'll take a stab at it...

Final Pot: 9.16 BB

If you bet the river what calls you that doesn't beat you? Not very much... And you are unlikely to get a better hand to fold. So check/call is the only line I would even consider other than check/fold but if I was going to check/fold I would have done that on the flop.

PF seems marginal, I'd only call it if UTG was position unaware (raising the same hands UTG as on the button).

Postflop looks good, don't think he's calling down ace high on the river.

PF is bad. Clearly -EV even against a predictable SLAP and monkey.

Postflop is good though IMO.

preflop would be better if it was like J8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

I actually really like this hand. PF is perfectly fine, these people haven't looked at the great work Peter_rus has done. If I remember correctly you are 5.7:1 to hit two pair or better when you hand is suited and the pot is laying you 5.5:1. With the PFR, he will bet out most flops and when it hits you well you can trap both of them for two bets.

I also think that this works well because you have show that you can play postflop rather well. You exploited a good flop for you, bet the turn when you still prob had the best hand and allowed him the chance to bluff on the river if he had overs. Good job [but I do suck so I dont know how much this means].
