I was thinking about what I really need to be discipline and not go on tilt and I figured I really need a program to stop me from doing it. I am not much of a programmer (computer science major for three years) but I wanted to see if someone is willing to make such a program to help with discipline.
I was thinking of a program that you can enter that would allow me to manage my time, bankroll and win/lose rates. So for example, I want to stop playing once I made $500 (and have gone down to $400 dollar), lose $200, or after 4-hours of play. I was thinking that it would disconnect you from the internet for a period of time (would warn you before) so that it would not let you login to any of your poker sites. What do people think, good program or not? Any interested programmers? I would be willing to pay for a program like this. |

I was not interested in advice on how to be discipline. It is not like I blow up everyday, but I would say once a month it can come up. I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in trying to make a program like this.
Jti - That is exactly what I have been doing. But your advice about the program does not relate. It is like someone asking to make a program like PT and you giving the advice of "Just take notes on every player and play good". That would help, but not as much as the program that can do so much more. I know that it might be hard to make at first, but I think it would be worth it. |

Simple if then statement in hardware hooked up to your circuit breaker and cut the power if the if statement is true. 24 hours later BOOM power back.
