If you can manage to track down a copy, 'The Game' by Neil Strauss is a little known gem.

Yeti,

Is it possible that there are threads on message boards that discuss this heretofor unknown text?

From what I understand, everything you need is available online. Despite the cheesy name, fastseduction.com is probably a good place to start.

Check out the stuff by Ross Jeffries.
He has this 'Speed Seduction' techinique that REALLY does work. It's loosely based on NLP techniques) He's a real arrogant/[censored], but his stuff works so he's entitled to be a jerk.

I have some of his tapes and CD's. I'm a real skeptic but honestly, his concepts and techniques are very effective. I use his techniques in a more 'passive' manner.

And, the 'speed seduction' techniques can be used in other situations (like influencing co-workers)

Check out: http://www.seduction.com/default.asp

It's a totally lame site but has a lot of info (if you buy into his theory)

Venusian Arts Handbook. It is the technique discussed in The Game. The Game is not a how to book, more of a story line. It is a great book but The Venusian Arts Handbook is all the meat and potatoes of the Mystery Method
