Default Casinos and games in Prague, CZ

My wife and I are going to the Czech Republic (Prague) in early August. Can you suggest any good places to stay, where the casinos are, and what games are spread there? I have heard if you can't win in Prague, you can't win anywhere.

Should I be worried about getting "backroomed" or mugged in the former "Eastern Block"? Thanks
