Wow. And the best part is that you have absolutely no "real" proof to back up your allegations. If you go back to the shop they'll just deny everything.

I wonder where they went to have added 2500 miles to your odometer?

uh pretend you wrote it down beforehand?

And when the garage tells the OP that he's full of [censored], then what? It's worth a try, though, I guess.

I live in BC (Canada) and there is only one automotive insurance company in the province (law blocks competitors) run by the provincial goverment ICBC. Shops have to be certified to repair claims for ICBC, if a shop losts it's certification it would go under as 90% of bodyshop work is paid for by ICBC. I could threaten to take it up with them?

So I took it to a repair shop by my work, it's a chain of shops and close by so I figured since it was all covered by insurance there was no point in shopping around.

If insurance covers it, why not take it to the dealer to get it fixed? You are not paranoid to think this is possible.

It's very difficult to get a courtesy car out of the dealership I got the car from, no problem with this repair shop.

One thing I forgot to note, there was a spoon in the cup holder. I don't eat in my car.
