House usually drops by and does a 'last chance' bump but a rough guide off cutoff dates is Monday nights USA time. Hot Tip: If you havent seen a Session Review pairings email on the front page then you are probably still able to make the deadline and we sometimes get an odd number of participants.

Also Im willing to do a review this week but since ive been fishmaxing it up I dont haven any sessions that particularly need a review....so if anyone wants a session review done but doesnt care if they dont do one themselves then PM me and Ill make sure we get paired up. first in best dressed yada yada yada.

this offer is particularly extended to anyone who hasnt participated before and whats to see wtf a session review involves....and the lower limits you play and/or more you suck at poker the better cos Ill have more to to comment on that way....seeing bad play by villians and the Hero also makes me realise that I dont suck as much as my recent results suggest

if you havent PMed me then its too late! Offer already taken up

To those of you who are new to the forums I recommend you give session reviews a go..you basically get free coaching and the chance to grunch up to 200 hands without the embarassment of being wrong in front of the entire forum

You might also ask why some of us do these reviews all the time or why I have put out a request to do a review for someone else without caring about having one of my sessions reviewed...well its because I get just as much out of reviewing someone elses session as I do out of having my own reviewed....I also like to see how bad the villians are at the limits higher than my current limit are (seeing terrible players at 1/2 and 2/4 motivates me to move up when the time is right)

and if youve participated before once or twice before but it turned out to be a crappy experience then PM House or myself and we will do our best to team you with a known reliable reviewer who can show you how a review should be done.

(its also quite possible that the only people reading this thread are those of you who actually care about session reviews....if this is the case then Im probably just preaching to the converted )

The first couple I did were very helpful and thought-provoking...however the last couple I did I was paired with complete donkeys who aren't even around anymore. This is pretty much why I stopped. I think I saw on the short-handed forums that they require post counts of 100 before participating...have you guys considered that? It's no guarantee of course, but it does show an effort/willingness to contribute. Provided the posts aren't all in OOT

Default ALL REVIEWERS READ THIS PLS

All Past and Present reviewers

Im writing this here cos I the Pairings post is stickied

I just want to state that I hope everyone doing a review has read the FAQ thoroughly.

It should be obvious that doing a session review does take some time so when you sign up for the reviews you really need to make sure that you do your best to make it productive. Basically, do the best review you can. If you dont kmow what is expected then read the FAQ again. rinse. repeat. If you are still puzzled them PM me or Housecalls.

At the moment everyone is welcome to the reviews and to be frank, newbies potentially stand to gain a great deal from a review...because the more leaks you have identified the quicker you can fix them BUT it is VERY FRUSTRATING when people sign up for reviews and then dont bother to put the effort in. Im not going to set a minimum post count here in the micros at this stage but maybe we can introduce a tiered system for the reviews like the have the the shorthanded forum. Honestly, I havent thought much about who this would work but Ill give it some thought....PM me with any ideas

Now, Unfortunately I definitely dont have ESP so I have no idea now many reviews are being done well and how many suck but I do read all PMs that I receive

Finally, as the new sheriff in the next few weeks Ill probably do a spot check survey post to try and get a feel for how the session reviews are going for all of ya but in the meantime if you have a bad review experience I am more than happy for you to PM me and ill do my best to pair you up with a known good reviewer next time.

Also the oppposite applies..if youve been reviewed and found that your reviewer did a particularly good job or at least a thorough job then PM me and tell me.
