yo this isnt even a joke, but for those of you that are single and horny guys like most of us, you need to consider porn. not even kidding, itll help if you arent thinking of nude women when you play a set of 12 sng's.

[/ QUOTE ]

Porn? In between sets? Unheard of. But... you know... that might just be crazy enough to work! I'll try it. Thank you kind sir.

Btw, I just started this too a few days ago. I have always been a proponent of playing fixed sets...but basically I have like 2 hours of "good" poker in me each day so I just keep 4 on the board till I wane.

I don't get physically tired, its just why do I want to play for 6 hours in a row? That's not really the point of being a pro poker player, at least to me it isn't. When I was coming up and making less money I played more hours though.

[/ QUOTE ]

maybe i'm still in my honeymoon phase... i've been pro a little over 3 months. i still really enjoy it playing 35-40 hours a week. yesterday i played for 4 hours in the afternoon, hung out and had dinner with the roommates, and played another 6 hours after that. occasionally if i am getting bored with it i'll disconnect my laptop from my 2001fp and 6-table on the couch while i watch a movie.

Yeah my problem is I have too many other random things that I'm obsessed with wasting my time with, aka video games, whatifsports.com etc etc

[/ QUOTE ]

thats my problem as well. I wish I had the discipline to play 10 hours in a day. Im jealous.

Well, at some point, the party has to end. I'll have lots of free time then and a nice roll. Or, if the party never stops, I can always take six months off and do whatever. Delayed gratification. Yeah, yeah, I could get hit by a bus and die, I'll gambool that it won't happen.

Yah poker must come to an end. Just before the end of the world, total anarchy, a housing bust, and a nuclear holocaust. Oh George Bush please save me!

Come on guys, poker has always been and will always be profitable for those willing to work hard and improve their skills. Unless you have some real hard data that suggests the end of poker, we really should stop these silly, "It must come to an end" statements. No offense to any poster, but I don't buy the pessimism just yet.
