omg!! that guy must be a really good player to get dealt AK, the best hand in the cadillac of poker!!

[/ QUOTE ]

If you really think AK is the best hand in poker then maybe this book isn't for you. Perhaps Masons Fundamentals of Poker would be a good starting point.

since I spiral all my poker books

Mason,

Quite a few people do this. How much extra would it cost for the books to be published in a spiral binding?

It could be a picture of two guys making out on top of a dead horse and I'd still have gotten it

They're saving that cover for the "Sklansky and Miller on H.O.R.S.E." book...

I can't believe i wasted my time reading all these comments about a book cover...

Based on the previous products that i have purchased from 2p2, the content is going to be excellent, and that is all that matters.

I would have gone with blue, though.....

Agreed. Who gives a crap what it looks like? All I care about is the quality of the content. And I'm sure it will be stellar.

I'm glad the book is ugly; I don't want people to buy it. Were it within my power, I would have the book smell really bad too.

Add some drop shadow or something to the text on the front cover. A subtle change like that can make a huge difference.

*edit* I just looked at the front cover for a minute again. You really should do something with the title. The rest of the cover is fine, but you should consider sprucing up that text a little. It's awfully blah.

F it. Just to give you an idea of what I'm thinking. My photoshop/fireworks skills have gone way downhill the last couple of years. I gave up on looking for the exact font. Here ya go:
