It\'s puppy and kitten season!
 Just wanted to remind everyone that it's Springtime and that means babies.  Your local animal shelter has puppies and kittens who need homes.  If you adopt an animal and things don't work out, please return the animal to the shelter.  Please don't abandon or abuse animals.

Get what you like and f*ck what anybody thinks about it. You are under no obligation to rescue shelter animals.
Your obligation, when it come to breeders, is to make sure you're not helping her sell off genetically screwed up animals, especially if they are going to be sold for breeding and not just as pet quality(these are fixed/spayed). You don't want to be furthering inbreeding or poor animal health. At this, some breeders are more ethical than others.
