Any crazy casino gambling stories? (non poker)

In Laughlin, NV. at the Colorado Bell a guy sitting at a $2 BJ table playing with C-notes. No chips, just regular greenbacks, pulling each one out of his wallet as he played them. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]

In Laughlin, NV. at Harras. Sitting at $2 BJ table next to a young guy with his girlfriend or wife behind him while he was loosing 5 black chips per hand. Never saw him win a hand. [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

In Reno NV. at the Reno Hilton. Wife playing a nickel progresive slot. Most players playing 1 or 2 nickels. Payout table sux but the payoff is the progressive. I get bored and walk away. Come back 10 minutes later after loosing another $40 in a quarter machine and wife has won the progressive. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

Not really gambling-related, but here goes.

A friend and I went to Vegas for the first time not long after we turned 21. We got to the hotel around midnight and figured we'd go check out the casino for an hour and then crash.

Almost nine hours and a power outage later (it was a massive thunderstorm in 1994 if anyone who lives there remembers), we staggered back up to the room. I was broke, having lost everything I brought for the trip.

My buddy, who also lost a ton of cash, decided that to cheer himself up he'd get the "12 hours of porn" for $29.95. I fell asleep almost immediately, only to be woken up by his shouting about 10 minutes later. The "12 hours of porn" was from 9 p.m.-9 a.m. He ordered it at 8:45 a.m., and it shut down 15 minutes later. He just kept shouting, "WHAT THE HELL?!?!? WHAT THE HELL??!?!?"

one of my first trips to Vegas I stayed at the Tropicana (I liked the pool). It was time to leave and we were walking through the casino with our bags to the waitung taxi...I still had 4 green chips I had to cash out...but instead...
I placed them on all the hard ways at a craps table.

Ten minutes later I had over $5000. The pit boss said it was one of the greatest runs he'd ever seen.
