[ QUOTE ]
Having trouble getting this working. All installed fine. These are the steps I followed.

Downloaded and installed FPHG
Created a new folder.
Copied FPHG.exe to the new folder
Copied EmpirePOkerMaster.exe to the new folder.
Linked PT to the EmpirePoker Master.exe
Started FPHG, opened tables started PT importing.

FPHG seems to record the hands just fine. PT finds the files but always says 0 new hands were imported.

Any fix for this?

Try renaming "EmpirePoker Master.exe" into PokerNow.exe and see if that works (seems ok for me when I tried).

If that doesn't work then try using the lightning bold option (or vice versa if you are already using).

One last thing to try, is to edit run.bat to look like this:

@echo off
freephg.exe -e txt

Then run FPHG from inside of your Party hand history folder, using the batch file to start it.

Hope one of these works - Juk

Default Problem w/ pokertracker and fphg

I had some problems so I reinstalled everything and downloaded the latest version. I have fphg in a desktop folder called fphg. The problem is that I can't get pokertracker to detect it. I copied empire.exe into this file, but when I click on pokertracker->program file locations and then select fphg from the desktop, the empirepoker icon doesn't even show up. I don't know why that is because it worked before. Ideas, suggestions?

Change the .exe to "EmpirePokerMaster.exe"

thanks. I tried that too and it still doesn't show up. I double and triple checked and I typed it in correctly.

If I look in the fphg folder I can see the EmpirePokerMaster.exe icon, however I don't have the option to select it once I open pokertracker.

yeah I had this porblem and did this. It makes the file extensions visible. Use my advice at your own risk because when it comes to messing around with this part of computer I know very little.

click 'start',my computer, tools, folder options, view, UNCHECK 'hide extensions for unknown file types' then click apply and okay.

BUT when you rename a file now you have to also type the extension in (thats the bit after the dot) for example ".exe" The computer will warn you about this though.

Did everything work OK then? I don't think this could screw anything up w/ my computer, but then again I don't know for sure. When I renamed it last time I did type in .exe. Perhaps I shouldn't have? Thanks, I'll try

Ok, I finally got mine working. Great program thanks alot by the way.

EmpirePokerMaster.exe did not work for me, it kept finding the tables but not importing any new hands.

Pokernow ended up working and now everything seems to be going good.

When I want to play however since I didn't go the route of changing the HHF's to text and putting it in my HH folder, do I just have to close up the program and play and do my own auto importing as usual with my play? If I want to mine while I play but I have the HHF files being written to a folder on my desktop, what happens? It duplicates the files and throws the stats off? Should I just do this if I don't want duplicates:

(1) Copy FreePHG.exe and run.bat into the hand history folder which is located under the Party Poker folder (it is where your own hand histories get stored).

(2) Edit run.bat to look like this:

@echo off
FreePHG.exe -e txt

(3) Run run.bat, and you should now start to get the observed HHs saved as .txt files.

(4) Setup PT to import as usual from the hand history folder.

Basically am just unsure of what would happen when I go to play and try to still datamine.

I have a problem.

PT seems to be importing hands but when browsing through the players' general info in the database I've noticed that just one out of like 15-20 players does have some data stored about him.

These few players have been recorded as they played only several hands.

I've created a pokernow.exe dummy in the FPHG folder and used the auto-import party & affiliates icon ( the PP chip icon).

Could this be the source of the problem?
I've switched to using the lightning bolt icon now and I'm waiting to see the results.

Thank you!
