hello there-
i am a 27 year old internet pro who has gained a lot of weight since going pro a year ago. despite this, i am still a stunningly handsome man (i have been compared to a young mason malmuth) with high level of intelligence and razor sharp wit. i am currently located on the east coast, but am thinking LONG AND HARD about moving west. what i need is a woman who has a good head on her shoulders. are you interested in getting to know each other better? |

Tell me what you think your biggest leak is for yourself and what you think many players do wrong. What is the hardest hand you find having to play? [/ QUOTE ] Well one thing I do in live limit games that is a really bad habit is soft playing.... I mean, I play with some players almost every day and it's easy to develop friendships. Some players that play that game have almost no clue and constantly throw their money away week after week. I check sometimes when I have the nuts on the river to some players and thats a VERY bad habit. But I can't help it I have always been a softie for the underdog. I'm trying to change this and tell players that it's not personal BEFORE we start playing. Liz once told me "Play your game, Check raise me if you want too", because I would check to her heads up. The hardest hand to play...hmmmmm. Hard question because the reason why I love poker so much is that every hand IS different, with a different set of circumstances and situations. In limit I really hate AK, because it can cost alot of bets if you don't hit. In no limit I don't like JJ, it's probably because I don't go all in with that hand, but I seem to call big raises with them. |

Submitting yourself to the NVG trolls is like some sort of gang initiation. That's how we roll at 2+2, son.
ps. do you like to eat trout? |

People who are playing that high of a limit game think its personal? hahahaha I'd imagine that they would understand that poker is about making money off the other player first and foremost.
Do you think its easier to make money off of men who think they are playing against a girl? I've noticed that a lot of the people that I have sat down at a table with would have their eyes light up and keep trying to bluff girls off of pots with air. Can you tell me maybe about the biggest bluff you have pulled or maybe the biggest hand you have lost that you learned from. Any thoughts on 57s? I find that hand to be probably one of the most profitably deceptive hands possible, for me at least, that if hit properly will end up making money more than it can ever lose. |

I don't know what that is an abbreviation for.... Are you supposed to be some kind of "gansta" on a poker forum? That's the funniest thing I've seen yet!! |

MsGluck,
Most of these guys are only being nice to you because they have seen your incredibly attractive pictures and they think that perhaps if they are nice to you online then someday if they meet you in person, they might have a chance at hooking up with you. These guys are young and crass, and frankly it sickens me that they change their behavior just based on the fact that you have a few beautiful pictures online and are incredibly talented at poker. My philosophy is that it's really all about the heart of the person, and looks are just an added bonus. From your writing I can tell that you are smart, caring, very articulate, and a real natural talent at poker. Those are the reasons that I would be interested in meeting someone like you, the fact that you are not only beautiful on the inside but also so pretty on the outside just serves to make you that much more attractive overall. I'm glad that you're participating on the forums now. As a successful businessman, high-limit cash game player, athlete, world traveller, and accomplished movie producer, I'm not going to be like any of the regular idiots on these forums trying to flirt with you just because they saw your pictures online. But, perhaps we will someday cross paths and be able to do something fun like jet over to Spain and enjoy some time checking out some great clubs and restaurants there and then perhaps relax hanging out on the beach catching up on reading some great books. Again, I'd like to thank you for your participation here and if any of these guys bother you too much, feel free to send me a PM (go ahead and include your phone number and stuff just in case I need to call you about something) and I'll get them taken care of. |

[/ QUOTE ] You have to understand, most of the people I play poker with, play for leisure and fun. If I am check raising them every hand, they can certainly take it personal. [/ QUOTE ] Do you think its easier to make money off of men who think they are playing against a girl? I've noticed that a lot of the people that I have sat down at a table with would have their eyes light up and keep trying to bluff girls off of pots with air. [/ QUOTE ] Well, someone at Commerce once told me that I get paid off much more than anyone else. Some guys never believe a "girl" has a better hand than them. I would know if it was "easier" because I have never been a man [/ QUOTE ] Can you tell me maybe about the biggest bluff you have pulled or maybe the biggest hand you have lost that you learned from. [/ QUOTE ] If you watched the Costa Rica Tournament, I bluffed almost everytime because I did not catch a hand. I knocked Grinder out with a J5 and a 97. In low limit is really hard to bluff but in high limit you can steal a pot or two sometimes. The biggest pot I ever lost was quads over quads...flop 10 Q 10, I had pocket 10's, Q on the river. Maybe $6000 limit pot. [/ QUOTE ] Any thoughts on 57s? I find that hand to be probably one of the most profitably deceptive hands possible, for me at least, that if hit properly will end up making money more than it can ever lose. [/ QUOTE ] I believe those are making money hands. In no limit I love suited connectors I limp whenever possible and raise in position. But the most money making hands in limit for me are small pocket pairs and flopping a set. This last trip to Bellagio was incredible, I flopped 3 sets of 2's in the last couple days, so I decided to call 3 bets on the button with 22, I hit a set AGAIN. I think I made 5000 on pocket 2's for the trip. |
