Well...
this was a mighty interesting read I must admit. For those who don't know...I'm hyjinx. the umm... girlfriend. Although I'm not the girlfriend..I'm just his friend. You probably won't get the answers from me that you want, but after reading all of this I thought I would address the questions that I can, because ya know..you guys were pretty [censored] hard on me and Keith. And well, it's Wednesday night, there isn't anything good on tv and I'm bored. Maybe the dates were [censored] up. My bad. I was pretty upset about one of my best friends being about thisclose to death so I wasn't exactly checking calendars. I also was a bit sketchy on exactly what happened when. I knew he was going to Vegas. I knew he was playing in a poker tournament. I DIDN'T know where he was when he wrecked or anything else. Hell, it was a week before I found out he took his bike up there in the back of his truck. Oh here That's the article that was in the Las Vegas Sun on July 8th (the day AFTER the wreck). Please note they spelled his last name wrong which is why a google search wouldn't have pulled it up. My evasiveness...I STILL can't tell you why his name showed in the standings. Again, not my story to tell. Sorry. The hospital. I did NOT know what hospital he was in .. for exactly the reason I stated. Too many people were asking and I didn't want to lie. Oh..and I had never been to Las Vegas, so I couldn't even tell you what hospitals are there. Asking for money.. one of my best friends was in a hospital, in a coma, almost dead. In another state. Where I couldn't go. NO VISITORS remember? The ONLY thing I could do at that time was try to raise some money to help him when he got out of the hospital. So I did. You guys made a big deal like I was asking YOU for the money. I didn't come here trolling for it. I wrote in MY blog on MY page..to the people I know who know him. To my friends. Both real time and otherwise. This had nothing to do with trying to troll or scam anyone. And since you guys quit posting my blog once you realized it was TRUE..you don't know that I also had a benefit for him in Malibu in October. Yes...I asked for more money. Thankfully, his friends, the people who actually KNOW Keith came through when we needed him, and that's all I wanted in the first place. Someone posted about him logging on sometime around July 12th. I wrote a bulletin explaining what had happened to Keith to send to the people on HIS list cuz there were like 3000 of them and I didn't know all of them but I did know there were people who care about him and would want to know so I had a friend who works at MySpace that got into his account and posted it for me. He did it once and it directed people to my page if they wanted more information on what happened. I truly understand why you guys questioned what was going on. I knew it at the time, but seriously, I was more concerned for my friend than I was about a bunch of people I didn't know. And I didn't know about you guys or this forum until tonight. I wish someone HAD sent me a link. Like I said, it was entertaining. I was pleased to see that at least a FEW people didn't really believe it was a scam or that I was involved. At least there are still some people in the world that try to see the good even if they DO have questions. Questions that I freely admit they had a right to have. At any rate.. i just wanted to throw my .02 cents out there to those who wondered, cuz well, it's what I do. I hope this at least settles questions for some of you.

Man, and here I thought the ninja bumpers were at it again.
Seriously, thanks for the post. I don't think I had much to say in the thread originally, but I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we're glad that he's been getting better. We're also sorry to have treated it like a scam. It did look fishy, but I certainly hope that no one continued with any accusations after we got conclusive evidence that this was legit. Again, thanks for the note.

[/ QUOTE ] No, not after..at least I don't think so. The death threats and [censored] I got were quite interesting tho. Oh..by the way...Paypal never did [censored], so I couldn't even tell you if they actually investigated. They sure didn't ask me what the money was for. Proof positive that you DO have to be careful what and who you give money to. Another reason I didn't get angry about what I read here. And really..there was some funny stuff mixed in with the crap here. ha!

Well, anyone who can take death threats in stride will probably fare well in OOT. I don't think we should point you in the direction of the chuddo thread, though.
