Sweet.

I was semi encouraged by the way they played. Young team on the road for the first time playing a team that was on the brink of elmination after murdering them the game before. It had loss written all over it truthfully. Philly fans can take away fromt hat game whatever they want, but their team still is undisciplined, slow and not the better team.

I expect them to come out flying tonight and will also hunker down definsively (w or w/o Teppo who is supposed to play)

Sabres 4-1 and wrap it up at home on Sunday afternoon.

I agree - pretty much every star was aligned for the Flyers last game. As long as Miller and the Power Play are half as good as they were during the reg. season it'll be tough to lose the series as much as they've outplayed the opposition thru 3 games.

BTW would the Devils get home ice next round? Seems like B.S. if they did since the Sabres had more points. I like how the NBA does that.

Yes, the NHL playoffs do not re-seed after the first round, which pretty much blows. SO the Devils would get home ice.

Total aside while were on Buffalo sports, any thoughts on the draft? I hope they trade out honestly.

Well as I said in the other thread I'm a trenches guy - the OL has sucked for 10 years but there isn't enough value in OLmen at the top so yeah, I can see a trade down. Problem is it's a buyers market because more teams want to trade down than up I think. I wouldn't mind getting either the big Oregon DT or the Maryland TE - one of them should be around depending on how the 49ers take. Above all else though I'd love a stud pass-rusher at DE, but there are none in the draft after Williams. I'm no draft expert but I do remember wishing they'd taken Alex Brown a few years ago; he had a good year for the Bears and all of the white guy "high motor" DE's they've drafted lately suck.

If the big OL Ferguson falls (which he may) they definatley need to go there....

....SF def taking the TE Vernon....theyll probably take Ngata the DT from Oregon but I wish they would trade down a couple spots to take him 8 is too high...

..the only real chance of trading down is if Vernon Davis or D'Brickshaw is still on the board...but if they are there they need to take either

I thought D'brick was a lock to go to the Jets but yeah, def. take him if he's there. I've heard the Eagles were interested in trading up for one of the DT's. Haven't heard anything about Ngata being a reach at #8, everything I've seen has him top 10.
