I think the truth is somewhere in between the two extremes.

Gabe, maybe you're not doing enough to let her know what your boundaries are. Telling her that she reminds you of her sister isn't enough; how many guys have had a girl tell them "you're like a brother to me" but still didn't get the message?

When she sits on your lap, that's most definitely not kosher in any way and you need to let her know. Being passive about something like that doesn't free you from blame, and by not saying anything to her, she thinks she's receiving tacit approval of the act from you.

El Diablo: I understand and agree with your viewpoint, but you made your position seem so extreme and vitriolic. Is there a reason why this topic is so polarizing for you? Or is it just a bad day for you.
