[/ QUOTE ] Thank god, I thought I was the only one thinking this while reading the thread. The orginial Terminator simply rocks like few movies do these days. T2 has neat special effects and the new terminator is pretty wild but to quote from the other poster, the movie has "no soul." What's with Arnold becoming the understanding, sympathetic terminator? Come on. I can't think of any sequels far better than the orginal. The Godfather II was equal to or better than the orginial IMO.

a lot of people dont consider Return of the King to be a sequel. since all 3 were filmed at once, it's really just a single film in 3 parts. but, there's considerable debate about it, so it all depends on who you ask.

Batman Returns is a better film than Batman imo, but they are both light-years ahead of the rest of the series.

Neither is a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but the high points in Bogus Journey, notably Death playing Battleship with Bill and Ted and a couple other scenes exceed anything in Excellent Adventure.
