Am I missing something with Elliot? I just never remember him. I just don’t think he has the “It” factor. IMO

Is he really THAT good?

I just skimmed the whole thread and there was only one mention of the wardrobe malfunction. Are you all watching it with the sound on or something?

What wardrobe malfunction? I did not see anything.

When she stepped and the slit in her dress? Or something with the upper area?

In my opinion there were three clearly good performances and three clearly poor performances. I had them ranked as follows:

1. Elliot - I don't really like him much but could not find one negative tonight

2. Kat - Much, much better than the judges gave her credit for. I thought the very first part of the song should have been higher but the rest she was very good

3. Chris - Better than average but not great. I don't like how they pimped him by putting the guitarists on stage wtih him. Not fair to other idolists.

4. Taylor - Very blah and out of tune for much of it.

5. Paris - Sang that song way too deep and out of tune and too slow and......you get the picture. I think she is gone this week as Elliot saved himself.

6. Kellie - Badly out of tune there. That song is WAY TOO BIG for her. Very bad song choice. She needs something with more music to hide her voice.

I could not wait for the songs to end when Taylor, Paris, and Kellie were on stage.

Nobody commenting on Kat's little upskirt flash as she took that first step?

White panties. Does that help? Maybe it was much better in Hi-Def.

gap between paris and kellie on DI is slowly tightening, 2.5:1 on kellie is looking good on wsex imo. If there's any sort of AI producer "shocking" plug in the morning bet the bank.

i don't see how paris is going to survive tomorrow. interesting that the producer had nothing bad to say other than "soften it a bit at the beginning" while he was ripping everybody else apart. she a great talent, but she needs some experience in getting people to like her.

one of kat's dress buttons snapped when she moved forward toward the end of the song.

anybody else notice the producer continuing after "it could be great if chris does the performance of his life"? he says "BUT..." and it was muted, pretty funny.

i still see it going chris / taylor / kat / kellie / elliot / paris. elliot and kellie can switch, so can chris and taylor. this has been my order for many weeks.

chris needs some good songs to win, taylor might win by default otherwise. but there's a decent chance of a good song, and i think the final 2 night could be particularly good for him if it still goes "1 idol-made song, 1 judge choice, 1 contestant choice". the judges will probably pick something crappy for taylor that might play TOO much to his personality, and chris can play the fuel (hemorrhage) card at a clutch point in the competition. i'm actually thinking that higher ground might be a better choice though, he's overcemented the rock thing and he could use an upbeat song to match taylor.

kellie is sliding and elliot is rising. if kellie is actually shaken over any of this she's done next week, but if she can pull some charm back i'm pretty sure that she's got a huge group of people voting for her.

elliot is my favorite, but $5 isn't a bad selling price for him. kellie is at $5 too, another decent exit value.

I don't know what show the judges were watching but I thought Katherine knocked it out of the park. She DID sing it as good or better than Whitney.

Elliot proved he's got a world-class voice and I predict he will have a career like Harry Conick Jr.

Kelly is way out of her league now. But I still want to do her.

Paris chose a bad song. She can sing but it was boring. She's losing the personality battle.

Taylor is also showing he may not have the chops to finish this competition strong. Bland and average.

While I didn't think he deserved the praise heaped upon him by the judges, Chris did do a solid job.

My ranking going into the next week:

Elliot
Katherine
Chris
Paris
Taylor
Kelly

I think Kelly should be voted off.
But I feel Paris will be the one to go.
