Like KKF and creed said, if this guy will hit and run on you, then you need to be a lot more selective. Even if you think he won't, and also would rebuy if you bust him, then I personally would still leave and get a different seat rather than be forced to play coinflip poker or play like a rock.

It's not coinflip poker.. you just raise PF less often and are prepared to play for stacks preflop with midpairs and good aces+.

Why on earth would you ever leave a table where a guy was going all in 75% of the time you raise preflop???

FWIW, he has pushed pre against me several times w/ ace small (a3). KKFs calling standards seem pretty sweet

You're probably right that it's better to just be the bigger man and not say anything but sometimes i struggle to be the bigger man...

I'm with the slightly tighter players since opponent may tighten up once doubled up. AT/66-ish for me but if he's doing that for nearly half of his hands over 30 hands that becomes Ax/22. KQ only if opponent is pushing nearly all his hands or has been going for several orbits - even then I'd often fold. I do not weant to get faked by a run of good cards then run KQ into an ace. Also, I want to be to his right. You want relative position on a preflop pusher / superraiser so you can see whether someone else calls before you commit with A9. It would truly suck to call with A9 then get QQ calling behind you.

I havnt read most of the thread... but one thing you said was wrong sam... You shouldnt take a decision just because it is the most +EV. You should think through his psycology a little bit, and make some folds which are -EV. I know your bankrolled for this game... however think about it this way. If you call his shove and he loses he is much more prone to tilt... if you call and he wins he will very often start playing sane (at least imo and i've had this happen to me on stars a lot).

great point here, durrr. and i think it esp. applies to donutboy. he will go on monkey tilt for a while, but if he doubles up, he tightens up significantly and starts to play fairly well.

Haha - you are ruining my attempt at portraying myself as a gentleman. Yes indeed - comments about yet another mortgage payment followed!

Also, I started really annoying him by counting out loud every time he rebought. He had a 2K stack and had to rebuy a number of times. Full rebuys twice, but I counted even when he added 50 bucks to get it from 1950 to 2K. I kept saying "there's rebuy #7" etc ...

I had the whole table "lol-ing" at him. Was beautiful!

talking trash back to that bozo is clearly +++EV.

An excellent point Matt: I agree with both the KQ point and the point about wanting to know that the others are out of the way. In this case, I was on him immediate right.
