I have moved up through the 5.50s and I am now comfortably 4- tabling the 11s.
What should my bank be for the move to the $22s? $600??? How many $11s should I have under my belt?? What changes can I expect from the change from $11 to $22? Major change in skill....or minor?? Are there still a good number of donks roaming the rooms? I am tight player by nature but have learned how to change my play depending on the table and certain situations. Also this is a part time hobby....looking to grab some extra income. Thanks |

plenty of donks still. the donks arent' as donkish but they are still donks. you can give it a shot with $600. if you drop down to say $300 move down.

Who says you have to move up all at once?
The hard part of moving up a level, regardless of bankroll unless the money just doesn't mean anything to you, is getting used to the idea of having more money out on the table during your set. If you're like me, you got used to losing $44 when you bust out of all 4 in a set and can say, no big deal, I'll make it up the next time I have a good set. $88 out of your bankroll is going to hurt twice as much. Instead of moving up all at once, I started playing 1 $22 and 3 $11's, did that for a while, the 2 $22's and 2 $11's, etc. You'll be able to better answer your own question about what the difference between the levels is by doing this as well. I don't think you'll find there's much of a difference between the $11's and the $22's except that the table will be a little tighter early and there will be a few more people around when the blinds start to get high. |

As for you BR questions, if you can replenish and/or are a significant winner (I doubt you know that yet) 4 tabling the 22s with about 700 isn't awful. But I would suggest not 4 tabling the 22s until you have at least 1100 - perhaps because I find moving down so disheartening. |

thanks guys those are great ideas......once I get my BR up towards $600 I will play 3-11's and 1-22 and see what happens.
That will definetly show me the direct differences. |

Now I see it being a while before I can move to 4 tabling the 22s.
