I can't seeing anyone bothering with that for Microlimits.

But ok.

1) Stars Bug: 4%
2) Microlimit Hack 2%
3) Mom Busted 30%
4) Brother Busted 40% (depending on loc, of course.)
5) Prank 24%

If you were running/testing a bot, would you rather do it on your own account or someone else's?

Teddy: Is your mom anywhere near Toronto? I could go over and take a look at her computer.

Are you trying to hit on Teddy's mom?

I just read this whole thread and I too feel there's something wrong with this picture.

Right from the beginning in fact. The OP's original note first paragraph: "According to her, she got an email the other day saying that her account had been suspended for security measures and that Stars support wanted her to send in some log files. After she complied, they told her that they believed she was using a bot, and that her account was being closed (although they let her cash out the little money that she had there.)"

Huh? Why would "some log files" from the client computer matter to Stars? If you suspected a bot would you ask the suspected bot user for confirmation? It seems likely that the Stars software can do their reporting perfectly well without the suspected perpetrator being involved. And as others have said, why let her cash out?

More odd things popped up as I read the thread. Too many alarm bells.

Perhaps they all have sensible explanations. Perhaps one of the existing theories is right but of course many more possibilities also remain. (E.g. teddyFBI has multiple personalities. Mom has a partner who uses the computer. teddyFBI has a competitive younger sibling living with Mom. Someone is out to cause trouble for teddyFBI and he's fallen right into the trap. And on and on...)

Regardless, teddyFBI: Why don't you post the *full* email trail to date from start to end? Your ongoing failure to do so seriously undermines any chance of your being credible in this thread. It strongly suggests hiding something.

You can't just say that because he hasn't posted much he doesn't have a valid point.

It *is* strange that stars wanted log files to be sent.

You *do* need to post the full email exchange because this is all pretty weird, although doubtless as I haven't made many posts my opinion isn't valid.

Fine, I have over 3200 posts... "ooooh", I second what the guy with 4 posts says, post the full email exchange, this story doesn't make sense.
