Do you think you could make resizable windows? Not just an option to make them small, but actually be resizable like an internet explorer window.

A good interface is vital. Some of the things I like:

Auto act buttons that actually work,
Large action buttons in a logical place,
Option for a 4 colour deck.
Option for a no frills look (just a table and some names)
Fancy 3d crap might attract the fish but it is fairly common now, cartoony looks like Full Tilt are also fun.
Resizeable windows would be awesome.

On that note - fish are important. Get lots of fish with advertising, gimmicks, whatever, and protect them. Ban the chat of table coaches as soon as they start abusing the fish.

To to that of course, you will need good support. They need to speak English fluently, know about poker, and generally be like Star's support, not Party.

[BTW - I'm looking for a job ]

Bonuses (to attract fish and make me happy). Also, enabling the option for autorackeback would rule. Affiliates can signup for a rakeback compensation plan, whereby their X% MGR is split between their afiliate account and each players account.

Don't make it go to everyone, that's just silly, especially if it's tiered like pokerchamps. Be warned that some of the big casino affiliates will not promote rooms that "condone" rakeback though. But screw em. If you look after your affiliates well, they will have no problem reccomending you, giving you premium spots on websites etc. This means paying promptly, hosting and updating banners on your site, not making them download creatives and update them on their own server. A good payment plan is nice too, hybrid plans (a bit of both CPA and rev share) are very nice.

Variety of games is nice, but really, I suspect 90% of people wouldn't notice if all you had was Holdem. I think offering micro limits create brand loyalty.

It's still pretty early here, but I hope that helped.

First off let me point out that I know jack about these kinds of things, so excuse me if my idea isn't reasonable.

Anyway, I think it would be amazing if you had a Visa debit card for your high volume players. It could be used anywhere Visa is accepted, and the money is just taken from the player's poker account.

This obviously would be a horrible idea to have available to everyone. You don't want losing players to have access to their money where they can easily get it out through an ATM withdrawal. It's in your best interest to keep as much money in the player's accounts as possible.

So, like I said restrict it to only your high volume players. These are usually people who play for a living, and will be withdrawing money regularly anyway. The card would just eliminate the middle man, and sometimes fees.

Like I said before I know nothing of this type of stuff, so I may be way off here, and this may not be feasible at all.

Default Action buttons

Action buttons in poker require 4 spots, not three. Fold, Check, Call, Raise. Do not use the center spot for Call AND Check. Only Prima underdstands this and even there is not right.

You could also be the first site ever to properly use the 'moving button' rule for blinds when folks bust out.

ok, a few things.

* Give your customers the ability to resize the tables without adjusting the screen resolution

* Give your customers the ability to modify the tables (change colours etc)

* Make the lobby much more user definable. I would like a favourite tab to put certain games etc. Let me filter it out for game type or size etc

* Remove all pop-ups except for....

- pop-up when someone from my buddy list logs on
- pop-up when a specific tournament type (I have defined) is about to start

* Program some dealers choice or HORSE games

* Hand histories compatable with PT

If I think of more I'll come back and tell you.

Competitive rake structure, whether it's through bonii, rakeback or low rake. And really competitive, if I have a choice of getting 30% rakeback at a party skin or 30 at a smaller site, I'm sticking with party rather than moving a few thousand into a new, unknown site. Even if it's 30% at party vs 40% at you, I'm not leaving party unless you have lots of good games like they do.

Good support. This is very important, there are loads of players who love Stars and hate Party/skins even though there are more players at party, the players are generally worse and they can have rakeback there.

Have tons of 6-max tables, the fish love them and you make more rake because there are more hands/hr.

More features to attract fish.

Let them pick their player's look. Add graphical drama to the game. For instance, when they call time, give them the option to have the screen do a close up in a bubble off the screen that shows a cartoon close-up of a guy with sunglasses looking dangerously serious. When they move all-in, let their cartoon player stand up and slide it across the table dramatically. When they get a bad beat, let them push a button that screams or something.

Give the masses what they want, which is to feel like they are experiencing a starring role on WPT. But give us sharks the option to turn all that graphical nonsense off while multitabling with ease.

Make a rakeback happen of the hands that a player have played weekly
So i think that player who played excessively many hands in a week receive the side on alive, and i think they should have a higher percentage of rakeback, because they are pay enough if they play about 3000 or more hands in a week

Possibility that i will like is that if a player have reached a monthly border with his rake, then he play for the rest of the month rakefree

Maby alternative a rakefree with a monthly fee, for the players who want that

biggest and easiest thing to fix: allow players to switch tables while they're playing!
