The raiser is pretty much a donk. I have only played about 15 hands with him but his play has been horrible. However, this is his first raise and its a real pot sized raise... all of his bets until now have been 1/5 to 1/3 pot or $1 barrel bets. P.S. My thinking on the turn call was the player who bet this had either the ace or the nine. He's a pretty straight forward player. If he had the 9 - him being in the BB I figured my jack kicker might hold up. If i'm already behind to the ace or 2 pair at least I also have the flush draw. I was getting 3 to 1 and figured I could get my implied odds if i hit my flush with 1/3 - 1/4 pot bet on river. |
