Default windows 98 second edition question

Poker sites keep having updaes to there sites almost weekly. I just now am not able to log onto full tilt and in the past bodog would not run on 98 windows. Am i correct that most sites are requiring or some sites are requiring a newer windows operating system to run there poker software. If so, what can i do with my present software

I can't believe any site is going to stop Win 98 users from playing yet, too many people still run it. Did you try contacting their support or is this the usual 'post on 2+2 without bothering to contact the people presumably responsible for the problem first'?

There's no point in upgrading to Win XP either, just get a new PC with it installed for a couple of hundred bucks, saves a load of hassle.

An older version of windows had this neat little feature to help prevent eye strain. After the computer had been on for awhile a blue screen would pop up and and prevent you from using the computer any more.

Sadly, MS scaled this feature way back in later releases. I guess too many people weren't taking the hint and just rebooted the computer when this happened for it to really be useful.

Windows 98? Phht.

You'll get me to give up MS-DOS when you pry it from my cold, dead, fingers.
