Default Fold Nut Straight on Scary River?

Please dont criticize preflop...i do this almost never.

5-10 PP 6Max.

I definately have a LAG image and am doing quite well...I get the impression villian is a regular, not sure if hes LAG or TAG yet but I am 80% sure he's a winner by recognition of his name...I am playing under a new name - he doesnt know who I am.

Hero has 3h 6h and raises to 40 (standard). Villian calls in SB and BB comes along as well.

FLOP: Q 4 5 rainbow. SB bets out 3/4 pot, BB folds I call. ~ 330 in the pot.

TURN: 2. SB bets out again 2/3 pot, I call (easy shove next time, yes?) ~750 in pot

RIVER: 5. SB moves in for about 850. I fold.

I think my logic was bad... If i put him on a set I had to push the turn. As played, is river fold so bad?

Villian (Miles1215 or something like that) shows Q 10 and seems to know he just bluffed me off a big hand... Obviously his bet makes no sense but, aside from pushing turn is folding river so bad?

I don't fold there.

His bet makes no sense but he pushed you off the best hand?

when opening with 36s, this is essentially the best possible board you could hope for, instacall.

Your hand is very, very well disguised. I would consider repotting this on the flop unless your read is that Villain leading out is a very strong hand. There is no draw on that board and most one pair hands should fold to your pot-raise.

Turn check is fine I guess but personally I would donkey min-raise it since I am scared of not building this pot.

River is very bad. He puts you on a hand like KQ or middle PP 100%. Therefore, he can be doing this with AA, KK, AQ, or just trying to follow through with a bluff. He has no clue how strong you actually are. He can also be doing this with 44 but it is an easy call.

How do you put SB on a set? He's calling a standard raise from the blinds, this gives him a wide range.

You played 36 for deception, hit the best hand on the best board you possibly could and fold to a pot bet?

Normally I raise the turn but a call versus a aggressive opponnent who only slows when you push back could be justified. Push versus opponnents that like to make heroic call downs.

You played 3 6 for deception, villan has no clue as to the strength of your hand and you fold to a slightly over pot bet on the river????? HORRIBLE. Sorry it is.

turn play ain't so bad. and gross is not quite the word to describe the river play. gross has too much of a hint of seriousness about it.
