barry-

I enjoyed your book, and it was useful to me in preparing my mind to play well. In addition, i hope it will help me make better decisions about game selection.

You know that there is VERY minimal correlation between reading your book and the next winning session. I think it helps long term, but to those people and to Ted Forrest on the back of the book, give me a break, that is just self grandeurization.

Jason,

If you read the quotes on some of the other books, they were often written by the ghost writer of the book and then signed off by those who supposedly said it. I decided to use actual quotes from these players, even if it sounded hokey. Ask Ted (or any of the others) if he said it, next time you see him at a tournament. I realize it's goofy, but Ted uses my book as a talisman, he's been so lucky with it. I don't endorse my book in that fashion, but I have gotten several e-mails a day from people who claim I got them to focus on the correct things.

I realize my book won't be as useful as the guides on how to play certain hands, for people who play mainly on the Internet. But for people who play in person, the information in my book is important.
