However, if he was on his way to WSOP, then got in a horrible accident as described, I doubt the first thoughts on his (or those close to him) mind would be: "[censored], I'm almost dead. How the hell can I fake someone to play in WSOP for me... AND not give anyone refunds for those who bought my action."

What was there, a day or two at most between the alleged accident and the WSOP?

Just looked onto this, and I'm a little confused

WSOP Main event began Thursday, July 7th.

According to the MySpace blogs, Kwazar's alleged accident was on July 7th.

Was he only leaving for the WSOP the very same day it began?? At best he would have left early in the morning/day in order to make it to Vegas in time.

Regardless, that leaves absolutely NO time to arrange for a "fake substitute" to play in his place. And as I said before, I doubt arranging for a substitute to play in the WSOP would be the first thoughts on anyone's minds...

Perhaps his plan all along was to have someone play for him?

This thread wins. Better than any detective books I've ever read and has even more twists than the "who shot phil?" saga on eastenders (for the UK peeps out there)

Yeah, you're most likely correct.

There is either one whale of a TRUE story behind this or a more probable devious scenario is at play. (disclaimer - I've only read this thread, not any prior threads on this guy nor the myspace blog)

All the "little things" suggest a scam. The intricate detail of the medical procedures being done contrasted with zero knowledge of his location is a huge red flag. Add in repeated requests for money and abusive language at people posing reasonable questions and this has all the marks of a classic scam.

Add the fact that one of you guys called all the hospitals in LV and it looks even worse.

In all probability the nasty e-mails and dubious questions would get erased if she simply disclosed the hospital name.
