Nick C. 4/6/2006.

I was such a calling station tonight. At least I made a few hands and ended up (slightly) ahead, but I could've won more.

Edit: I was playing HU versus a huge LAG at one table at one point, and, man, I was pretty sure I had a big edge. Every time there was a pause, I was saying (out loud to my computer), "Don't leave, don't leave." And she didn't. But then other people had to show up and spoil everything. Damn.

Edit 2: And she was still sitting on my right, 3- or 4-handed at this point, when Party went down. Double damn.

Kirk 4/4/06. Dropped about 5 buy-ins at 200NL. 3 of which were due to terrible play.

I was stuck 4 buyins.

Played for 6 hours, now I'm up 1/4 a buyin.

Standard.

I'm having a weird day. Ended a 1000bb upswing yesterday to the unwelcome note of going -100bb in about 5 hours.. Wasn't feeling to swell about that, so i woke up today with a fresh state of mind. Decided i would put $500 into Absolute for the bonus (mostly because Party was down). Ended up being heads-up against what appeared to be a complete idiot - I took his whole 100 buy-in in about 20 minutes. He bought back in, and proceeded to take his 100 back plus take another 100 of mine

I feel like [censored] about how i played. the 150 i lost there doesn't mean much, but knowing how i donked it away is kinda sick.

Anyways, i found a gold-mine of a table at party later on, and made back what i lost at Absolute, plus a few hundred of what i lost yesterday.

Bottom line is, watching myself play through PT's hand replayer OCCASIONALLY MAKES ME SICK.
